People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answers. 

Some of people choose to continue their study to higher level of education when they graduated from senior high school. This is because Indonesian culture, parents will said their children will success when they are going to college. So parents will give more effort to fund their children to go to college. Because in university, parents believe their kid can gain more knowledge and also for career preparation. So one of the big reason people attend to college is for made their parent happy.

Another reason is people want to gain more opportunity to work in a big company. Many people believed if they gain more education and title, they will get good position in the company. That’s why when in the university, many people just focused on the credit. Because they want to get good grade and graduated fast from the university. This reason it’s very common, we can hear in every  discussion.

But, for what I think, there are differences point of view between people going to college and not. Because many experience you can get from a college that you didn’t get from a school. Like how to make a good proposal to approach a big company, how to gain more friends even in different faculty, how to convince your supervisor, etc.
